Best Strategy For BlackjackIf you were to ask ten different blackjack players, “What’s the best strategy for blackjack?” you would get ten different answers to the question. There are many players who think they have it all figured out and then again there many players who think that the guy who thinks he has it all figured out is a fool. There is no completely correct strategy for playing blackjack. There are only averages and best possibilities at time of play depending on the house rules, and the individual players, the number of players, and the number of decks in use. There are at least three bad strategies to use while matching one’s wits against the house but if you were to scrutinize the overall ideology of the game carefully, you would come up with many more. A bad strategy is to assume anything about the unknown where the dealer is concerned, i.e. the hole card. That approach most often will cause one to participate in irrational play. Those that play blackjack professionally have figured out what percentages using these bad strategies give the house. Another bad strategy is mimicking the dealer. When one practices that option he is putting oneself at a definite disadvantage. Another bad strategy is looking to never bust. By practicing this maneuver you will most often stand and lose. This a game of chance so if you are not going to take the chance, and are always playing a safe hand, then don’t expect much positive results. In fact, if you are not willing to take the gamble then you should not be playing in the first place. There are many ways to play and much education is needed to be a complete player. Do your homework, learn as much as you can about the game and then you will have improved odds.
