Taking Insurance
A lot of online blackjack players will take insurance when they see the dealer holding an ace but it is never a good idea to take insurance, even if you have blackjack.

Splitting 10’s
There are some players who will split a pair of 10’s when the dealer’s up card is a five or a six. You never want to split 10’s no matter what card the dealer is showing. 20 is a strong hand and you never want to weaken it.

Hitting 12 to 16 when Dealer shows 2 to 6
It really sucks when you have a total of 12 through 16 in online blackjack but when the dealer is showing a 2 through 6 you don’t want to hit your hand. The blackjack math says to stay on these hands and hope that the dealer busts.
